TSIA-2

WHAT IS TSIA-2?  HOW DO I STUDY?

The Texas Assessment Initiative 2.0 (TSIA-2) is a series of placement tests for students enrolling in public colleges and universities in Texas.  The tests help Texas schools determine whether you are ready for college-level courses in the areas of reading, writing, and math.

Click here to learn more about TSIA-2. This link includes the Pre-Assessment Activity, as well as Practice Tests.

Before taking the TSIA-2, it is a requirement by Accuplacer to complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA).  This activity is required to be completed prior to the first time to take the TSIA-2.  Click here to begin.  You must first create an account, then complete the PAA.  This link also provides online study materials and practice tests.

COCISD TESTING DATES 25-26

The TSIA-2 is offered twice a year for each grade level.  The test dates are optional; students must register with the CCMR Coordinator to take the TSIA-2 by completing the Google Form.  The TSIA-2 is required for dual credit entry, as well as most colleges will request a TSIA-2 Score.  Email kpedigo@cocisd.org for more information.
