TX-20066 Air Force JROTC Program
Organization
The Coldspring-Oakhurst High School AFJROTC unit has been designated "Texas 20066" (TX-20066) and was established in the year 2006. The Corps of Cadets is organized as a Group. Major functions of the group are categorized into specialized duties and responsibilities. Duty positions are characterized as either command, leadership or functional positions.
Corps Leadership and management of the corps is the responsibility of the cadets
The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) and the Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) are responsible for the overall function of the unit, teaching in accordance with an established curriculum, and providing the framework and guidance under which the corps operates. The cadets are assigned positions of responsibility in a variety of areas and presented with leadership challenges designed to give them valuable management and decision-making opportunities.
